Our Mission
Elevate Arts Chesapeake is dedicated to advancing the mission of the Chesapeake Fine Arts Commission, enriching Chesapeake Public Schools arts programs, and supporting individual artists throughout the community. Our mission is to serve as a vital connector and catalyst for the flourishing arts ecosystem in Chesapeake.
Bringing Artists Together
We aim to create a supportive community where local artists can thrive, share their unique perspectives and contribute to the cultural vibrancy of Chesapeake.
Promote Public Art Installations
We work to bring artists, business and government together to enhance and expand Chesapeake’s public art installations.
Expand Arts Access to Students
We are committed to nurturing creativity within the Chesapeake Public Schools. By providing resources, mentorships and innovative programs, we seek to bridge gaps and enhance arts education.
Promoting Local Performances
We strive to work with the Chesapeake Fine Arts Commission to increase the frequency and quality of local performances and art displays. We have a long term goal of seeing a performance venue in our city.
